I had the privilege of reviewing a home study course for piano and keyboards called ‘Piano For All’. I recently wrote a review for this course and will share with you my impressions.Fist of all you are taught how to find all of the notes on the keyboard.The next step is to show you how to play a simple melody which entails using all of the fingers, as a leaning aid. All this will take just a very short time. Now you are taught the three notes you will need to be able to play a basic chord. To play the chord they give you an easy little rhythm to play. You are asked to play the fist note of the chord an octave lower with your left hand giving you the bass. Add a rhythm to this and suddenly you find yourself playing authentic sounding piano.

When you have this feeling easy to play, which will be almost immediate, you will then be shown a few more simple basic chords. With the handful of chords you now know you can put them to one of the rhythms you have been taught and playing the chords in a sequence you will find yourself able to play recognizable songs. Learning this way is great for the confidence and leaves you wanting to learn more. As you progress you are taught some different chords, different rhythms and tunes. All of what you play is printed as keyboard diagrams and on the musical stave too. You will be playing real sounding piano or keyboards in much less time than you imagined.
