It really is that time of year again for the yearly visit to Menorca, it was on the plane to Menorca where I actually composed this specific short tale about vacationing in some apartments in Menorca and our own friends vacationing in some new Menorca villas just 250 meters away. This undoubtedly is Superb.
Emergency exits are placed to my left and right, and another two half way down the plane. Please secure your seatbelts, and get ready for takeoff, and thank you for deciding on JollyJet.com for your journey.
The aircraft had 3 rows of white plastic seating, all with coordinated teal soft cushions. The floor had red runners extending right down to the actual metal wall at the front end. The air hostess, dressed up in green, wandered via a slim door, and also shut it behind her.
The muffled noises of the engine drifted around the people, when the airplane lumbered over the runway. Looking out from the modest windows, tall structures could be seen, rising up on every side of the slender line of lifeless turf. Thick clouds of grey fog obscured almost everything beyond the monolithic highrises of London. A couple of the passengers, especially the more mature ones mainly, had dozed off already, jaws agape and a few drops of saliva occasionally. Children sat deathly still, possibly through fear of the aircraft, or their mothers who observed them like hawks.
One baby started off sobbing, and could be heard right up until his mom transported him into the restroom in the rear of the airplane.
Time seemed to drag on, minutes feeling just like hours, until all at once, the very airplane broke through the grey cover of haze and clouds. Now, the window that had yielded such bleakness, offered a elegant view. Clear glowing blue sky, resting on a field involving clouds. Wisps of cloud, disturbed by the plane, floated just like sheep, bobbing down and up in the open field. Wind rustled the surface and the thick fleece jacket of the lambs. All this was swept apart because a school of brilliantly colorful wild birds swooped out from the sea of clouds and dived once again below, leaving behind plumes of cloud floating and shimmering in the glowing blue.
A solitary bird leaped from the clouds, and flew along with the actual airplane, its feathers moist and shiny. It glided riding on the jet’s current, prior to joining its family members in the swirling puzzle beneath the clouds. In the distance, another plane glided majestically over the sea of clouds, generating gleaming waves into the sun, leaving behind trails of outstanding grey in the pure white.
We are going to be encountering some rough weather conditions travellers are advised to go back to their seats, proclaimed the captain.
The purity of the white and azure had been tainted with dark-colored clouds and greyish skies. The wild birds squawked, and then departed in a host of feathers. The woolly lambs became rabid wolves, snarling and keeping pace with the plane. The actual aircraft shook, baggage which was chucked to the ground, and the wind wolves howled desolately. There was a beat of thunder, a flash of lightning, and a few screams from within the plane. When the lightning faded, the plane was in the middle of the whirling dark colored haze, exactly where strange shapes sailed beyond the glass windows.
But the actual plane did not stay in that underworld of fog for more than a flicker of an eye, and very soon it was floating towards the runway, down towards the uniform dark and grey. The airplane touched down, and the passengers headed out of the aircraft, 1 by 1 as a light grey drizzle poured down, on dark outfits, dark-colored umbrellas, of people heading off for their Menorca holidays this year.
